Storing the memory of the warmth

Warm fall day in Charlottesville, perfect for porch sitting, and wine sipping. After dark phone calls with old friends outside with the citronella candle burning. Reading all day and grappling with constructions of 'global models' and 'health' and how discourse creates categories which control practice. Alternating reading with housework. A perfect day, really. Come on over for dinner, won't you? We're having homemade lentil soup.

Busy week coming up, with a very full entertainment plate: Lucinda Williams at the Pavillion, Elvis Costello opening for Bob Dylan at JPJ, and ending the weekend at my favorite venue, Gravity Lounge, with Vic Chesnutt.
