I love that, after months of tests, exams, & doctors visits, the apparent solution to my IBS came in a off-handed comment my midwife made a few months ago, "You should try calcium supplements, I hear they are very helpful." Calcium-magnesium with Vitamin D - brillant!
More settling in to the new abode: pictures on walls, closet organized, curtains hung.
Busy week ahead: exam (#1), book club, phone-banking, house warming, exam (#2).

uum, cat? why do you have a midwife?
Midwifery - it's not just for babies anymore. :) Seriously, she's a Nurse Midwife, with an RN and a PhD in Nursing. So, she's sort of like a nurse practitioner - my all-things-female-plus-some health care provider. She can prescribe meds, and do all the things an OB/Gyn can do, but she's nicer and cooler. Way cooler. How's that for a "Nurses Rock" plug. :)
whew. okay. thought maybe there was some major piece of information you'd left out of the blog.
glad she's been such a help!
